After-School Nanny Position - Kensal Rise, North West London 

A lovely family in Kensal Rise is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and adaptable after-school nanny to care for their three children, aged 12, 8, and 7. The role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and creative, with a passion for engaging children in homework, music, play, and crafts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • School Pick-Up: Collect children from their school in Chelsea (approximately 1 hour away).

  • Homework Help: Provide support and encouragement with schoolwork.

  • Engaging Activities: Organize fun, age-appropriate activities, including crafts and music.

  • Cooking: Prepare healthy meals for the children.

  • Household Support

    • Tidy children’s rooms.

    • Iron and fold laundry.

    • Dust, clean surfaces, and vacuum as needed.

Working Hours:

  • Week 1:

    • Monday to Thursday: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM

    • Friday: 12:15 PM – 7:15 PM

  • Week 2:

    • Flexible 5 hours dedicated to light household duties.

Total Weekly Hours: 23 hours

Note: No work is required during school holidays.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a nanny or in childcare is highly preferred.

  • Skills: Energetic, dynamic, and capable of multitasking.

  • Personal Qualities: Adaptable, positive, and highly organized.

  • Other: Must be comfortable working in a home where the mother occasionally works from home.

Compensation:

  • £19 gross per hour

  • Estimated Annual Income: £10,108 gross
