After-School Nanny – Notting Hill (March/April Start)
A warm and welcoming family in Notting Hill is looking for a proactive, experienced, and reliable after-school nanny to support their two independent school-aged children. The ideal candidate will be organized, flexible, and an accomplished cook, with a strong ability to assist with the children’s routine and household needs.
Role Details:
Start Date: March/April 2025 (Spring Break) – the family is happy to wait for the right candidate
Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM or 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (25 hours per week)
Additional Hours: Babysitting once a week; optional weekend hours when the family is in town
Overnight Care: Proxy parenting on occasion if both parents are traveling (a plus)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Cooking: Preparing healthy and delicious meals/snacks for the children (an accomplished cook is highly preferred)
Childcare: Taking the children to playdates and activities, ensuring their well-being
Household Support: Organizing the children’s belongings, keeping their spaces tidy (minimal tidying required, as the family has a daily housekeeper)
Pet-Friendly: The family has a dog, so comfort around pets is preferred
Medical Requirement: The nanny must be comfortable administering an EpiPen if needed, as the family's son has severe allergies
Additional Preferences (Bonus, Not Required):
Languages: A second language (Hindi or Spanish) would be a plus
Extra Hours: If the nanny is interested in additional hours, the family would welcome weekend help when they are in town
