Live in Butler Job
A large beautiful country estate near Peterborough is looking for a traditional formal butler. The current Butler is retiring after 25 years with the family. There is a full team in the home which includes Housekeepers, Chauffeurs, gardeners and a cook. On a day to day basis you will be looking after a couple and on occasion they do like to host formal dinners and shoot lunches.
We are looking for a formal butler who has experience caring for silver, crystal and chinaware.
Duties will include:
Lunch and dinner service
Setting and clearing of table
Valeting duties including packing of suitcases and shoe polishing
Light driving duties
Shoot weekends - If you do not have a license the estate will get one for you. (Cleaning and carrying of guns is required)
41 hours per week
£35K GPA with a rent free cottage included on the estate, pets and partners welcome
