Caretaker / Driver Job - Nr Clitheroe, Lancashire

Our client is looking for an experienced Caretaker / Driver to take on a role looking after a large family home near Clitheroe, Lancashire. The property is classic and modern in style so needs someone who is able to look after fine fabrics and finishes and who has a keen eye for detail. The client is also considering Couples for this role to also cover Housekeeping as below and can offer a separate one bed accommodation

The family have school aged children and dogs. Gardening, cleaning and childcare staff are also employed.

Duties will include:

Houseman / Handyman / Driver / Gardener

Household security
Managing plant room
Managing servicing
Property maintenance
DIY, painting and decorating
Driving (including evenings)
Looking after the household vehicles
Helping the Gardeners if needed
Clearing ice / snow in the winter
Bringing in logs for fires / laying fires
Wine cellar management

Housekeeper (if employing a couple or single separate Housekeeper)

Hands on cleaning
Laundry
Ironing
Overseeing cleaners
Some occasional family cooking
Shopping
Running errands
Household administration
Meeting and greeting guests and serving tea and coffee
Wardrobe management
Keeping a household inventory (lightbulbs etc)

This will be a full-time role, working mainly Monday to Friday with some flexibility needed on evenings and weekends

Separate one bed accommodation is provided next to the main house - all utility bills covered by the employer - the Caretaker role could be live in or daily if you are based locally

£35,000+ per candidate based on experience
