Chalet Chef/Housekeeping Supervisor - Lovely French Family - Meribel - Winter 24/25

We at Greycoat Lumleys are pleased to be assisting in the Search for a Chalet Cook/Host for this season.

This beautiful, private chalet in Meribel, France, is looking for someone to complete the season for a busy and discerning French family. Due to the nature of international guests, the candidates must speak fluent English and be self employed in France able to invoice the client directly.

Duties:

Cooking breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner for the adults and children.
Serving and hosting mealtimes
Keeping kitchen clean and tidy
Laundry – When client isn’t there, linens, towels, and Ski clothes.
Supervise hired housekeeping team, making sure the standards are kept high.
Co-ordinate with cleaning staff, to make sure the Chalet is spotless.

There is a separate cleaning company that comes in to clean the Chalet, that does all the deep cleaning (bedrooms, bathrooms, vacuuming, etc). The busiest time will be over the Christmas period.

The successful candidate will:

Be an EU citizen or have the right to work in France (NO candidate will be considered without EU passport or proven right to work in France)
Experience working as a Cook/Chef
Verifiable references
Driver

Salary: €5,000 NET per month on a self employed basis in France
