New Couple Job – Lake Como – Italy
A wonderful returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking a professional Domestic couple for their property on Lake Como. The property is located in the beautifully picturesque village of Fiumelatte and is historic in nature. The main family property has 6 bedrooms with a secondary property with 4 bedrooms owned by the same family being located close by but very rarely used.
The family are seeking a “typical” domestic couple and for the gentleman to be a capable handyman Gardner, driver and errand runner, the lady should have strong household cooking skills, and be experienced with all washing ironing and all cleaning responsibilities. Both candidates should have a history of working in private service and contactable recent work references.
Duties required:
Cooking – Good household cooking standards
Cleaning and Housekeeping of an old historic property
Washing and Ironing
Gardening of a small formal garden
Daily maintenance tasks as required (cleaning exterior of the property, windows patios etc )
Errand running and shopping of supplies
Candidates Requirements:
EU passport or Italian work permits
Italian language skills
Experience in Domestic work for private individuals (preferably as a couple)
The client is open to all applicants provided that they have experience working as a Domestic couple previously, can provide suitable references, speak Italian and have the right to work in Italy.
The family stays for approximately 3 weeks during the summer but and its usually only four people who stay the two Principals and their two children who are in their late teens and early 20s. During the rest of the year the lady of the house visits each month for approximately 4 night each visit. The lady of the house is clam, organised and down to earth.
The successful couple would be offered Italian work contracts and a beautiful small-town house with two-bedroom, garage and a living area. The accommodation is offered free of charge and is two stories.
The family currently employ a caretaker and recruit local housekeepers when needed. They are seeking a couple to start in August or September and hope to begin interiveiwng form next week.
Salary: €5,000 NET per month with some small flexibility
Accommodation: Private of a good standard is provided
