Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking a Groundsman for their Private Estate in Perthshire, Scotland. The grounds need to be cut back and overhauled, they have not been kept in order as the estate property has been unoccupied and part is now under renovation. The grounds consist of a walled garden, vegetable garden, gardens around the main house, small area of woodland, a drive way, tennis court and lawns. The estate will be the secondary residence of the Principals. Contractors are available to work on larger jobs within the grounds.
Chainsaw and spraying certificates (PA1) are beneficial.
Duties Include:
- Bringing the gardens up to a high standard
- Mowing (ride on mower)
- Pruning
- Strimming
- Maintenance of driveway and tennis court
- Machinery maintenance
Salary: £30,000 GPA
Accommodation: 2 bedroom property being renovated - pets welcome within reason
Bills are paid by the Groundsman and the council tax is paid by the estate
