Live in Couple Job in Hampshire
A lovely returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced Couple for their home in Hampshire. The couple spilt their time between their home in London and the country often spending 1 or 2 nights in London and generally travel quite frequently. They have grown up children who stay at the property frequently at weekends or have guests.
The property is a 6 Bedroom/6 Bathroom house situated in 70 acres of land - a team of gardeners are employed - they require a Housekeeper who has high attention to detail and a keen eye, together as a Couple you will be responsible for the upkeep of the house, be hands on with general DIY duties around the house, deal with contractors and in general take pride in your work and enjoy running a household.
They do have a dog who you should be happy to look after when the clients are away on holiday and during the week if they are away -so vital you are a dog lover
The ideal candidate will be experienced and have strong organizational skills and be confident in running a home with very high standards but in a relaxed working environment.
The estate is a busy place with people coming and going - you will liaise with the gardeners to ensure cut flowers are provided for the house for example. It would suit a candidate who is happy to work as a team and be part of a small community
Duties and Responsibilities
Hands on Housekeeping
Laundry and ironing, basic sewing
Family Cooking would be ideal
Running Errands
Food and Household shopping
Driving duties and vehicle maintenance
Swimming Pool maintenance
General Maintenance duties
Managing the house and admin duties (such as paying bills etc)
Liaising with contractors and tradespeople
Pet care and dog walking
Security of the house when the clients are away
Days: Monday to Friday mainly with occasional weekend work
Hours: 8:30am – 5pm with a break
Accommodation: 2-bedroom Cottage. 1 dog would be considered for the right couple.
Driver: Essential one is a driver
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 gross per annum
