Live in Couple Job in Oxfordshire
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for lovely returning clients of Greycoat’s at their second residence in Oxfordshire. Their couple of 9.5 years are leaving as they are sadly breaking up. The Couple have 2 grown up children and a large Dog. The main property has 4 bedrooms and there is a studio apartment for guests.
Duties will include:
- Keeping the house clean and tidy
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing beds linen and towels
- Arranging weekly food shopping and menu planning
- Simple family cooking when the principals are in residence
- Occasional cooking for informal dinner parties
- Informal table service for occasional dinner parties
- Waxing and polishing wood floors
- Silver polishing
- Organizing dry cleaning
- Wardrobe management.
- Dealing with contractors (Pest control, gardeners, plumber, decorator, tree surgeon, etc.)
- Garden maintenance - leaf blowing, lawn mowing, weeding, trimming, pruning, strimming, hedge cutting,
- Maintaining fences and gates
- Driving duties
- Vehicle maintenance
- General house maintenance duties - gutters cleaning, jet washing, light decoration, sink unblocking, curtain pole replacement, gun cabinet installation etc.
- Dog care - walking, feeding, training, grooming (the dog sleeps outside).
- Learning and managing new facilities like smart heating, smart lighting, Internet network, alarm system, CCTV system etc.
- Security
The ideal couple will be discreet, hardworking, proactive and dog friendly.
Accommodation: 1 bedroom maisonette house with a private garden. A well-behaved dog will be considered.
Start date: End of October / November
Days: 5 days to include weekends, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Working on average 40 hours a week, with longer hours required at weekends when the principals are in residence.
Drivers: at least one to drive
Salary £60,000 - £70,000 gpa, depending on experience
