Live in Couple Job in Hampshire
Live In Couple required for a returning client of Greycoat Lumleys who are known to be excellent employers, they are looking for a Couple who can join an existing team which includes a Gardener and a Groom.
As a Housekeeper you will be required to look after an 8 bedroom house, carry out duties including cleaning, washing, ironing, making beds and liaising with tradesmen etc.
The client would like someone who is efficient and uses initiative. The house sits in 50 acres of land, 40 of that is crops and paddocks, leaving around 8 acres of lawn and garden.
You will assist the full-time Gardener with garden maintenance duties including mowing lawns, hedge cutting, strimming and basic planting. You will be required to do handyman jobs around the estate and in the house as well as maintenance of the swimming pool which is indoor and outdoor.
The family have 6 dogs who live in the house so you should both be confident around dogs, the clients are very hands on with the dogs but of course you should be happy to muck in when required.
This role will suit a Couple who have worked in a Main residence household before or are starting out in domestic households.
Duties for the couple will include:
- Hands on cleaning, laundry and ironing
- Occasional help in the kitchen if they entertain
- Garden maintenance
- General household maintenance inside and outside
- Driving duties to include local errands as well as occasional driving
- Occasional dog care
- Security of the house when the family are not in residence
Accommodation A lovely 2 bedroom separate cottage on the estate – sorry not suitable for pets
Start date: October / November
Days: Monday to Friday: 9am – 5:30pm with very occasional weekends required
Drivers: Ideally both to drive but not essential if Housekeeper doesn't
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
