Live in Couple Job in Essex 

We have a lovely position with a returning client who is looking for an energetic, warm and helpful couple to join a busy family estate in Essex. The ideal couple will have a happy and friendly personality who are flexible with their responsibilities.

This is a great role for a couple who loves animals and gardening. You will be working on a 60-acre estate that has holiday let properties. The animals include Alpacas, lamas, camels, chickens and pigs. There are also 2 family security dogs.

Duties to include:

  • Formal and informal gardening 
  • Up keep of the large kitchen garden 
  • Groundsman responsibilities – jet washing the patios, sweeping leaves etc
  • Maintenance and DIY
  • Interior and exterior maintenance
  • Daily animal care (approx. 3 hours a day)
  • Dog walking
  • Maintaining the 3 holiday lets (1 beds) – keeping them clean and tidy, changing the bed linen etc
  • Security of the estate

Start date: As soon as possible

Working week: Monday – Friday with occasional animal care on the weekends

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 gross per annum, depending on experience

Accommodation: A large 1-bedroom apartment, separate from the main house. Sadly, no pets can be accommodated.
