Live in Housekeeper/estate administrator job in Kent:
A client of Greycoat Lumleys based in Dover are looking for a switched-on and organised housekeeper/estate administrator. Duties to include cleaning, washing, and ironing as well as some light cooking.
You would be working alongside cleaners and gardeners, meaning that this position would be suitable for someone who enjoys working in a team.
As the principal has two dogs, dog care and walks would be part of this role. Therefore, someone who enjoys working with dogs is essential for this role.
This role also includes some estate administration, so an administrational background would be a big bonus. Duties would include but not be limited to overseeing the household-budget, liaising with contractors and trades people and other general maintenance staff.
Duties to include:
Hands-on housekeeping.
Keeping the property clean and tidy.
Laundry and ironing duties
Looking after the dogs, going on walks and oversee their maintenance
Light cooking and meal preparation
Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Organising grocery orders, bills management, taking deliveries etc.
Liaising with contractors and other service providers
Co-ordinating and organising events
Making sure safety protocols are always followed and up to date
Manage administrative tasks such as inventory and booking appointments
A driver is required for this role and a car will be provided during working hours.
The ideal candidate would have extremely high attention to detail and would have had experience working in private households and checkable references
Accommodation: Separate and self-contained studio flat
Working hours: 40 hours a week, Tuesday and Wednesday off.
Salary: £40 000+
