Live-In Housekeeper near Tonbridge

Full-time live-in housekeeper required for retired couple in their 70s. Successful candidate must be careful and caring. They should be aware of and sensitive to infection risks to the principals and willing to wear a mask if required. They should be able to communicate by email and messaging and to use simple smart technology. As well as a proven record of Housekeeping experience, carer experience would be a great bonus.

Duties would include:

Cleaning of the house to a high standard
Laundry – washing and ironing
Changing bed linen and towels
Arranging flowers picked from our garden by the gardener
Dealing with deliveries especially Ocado – unpacking into larder/fridge/freezer on ground and first floor
Supervising contractors if any required for indoor work
Occasional simple food preparation/cooking. More frequent if principal is unwell
Daily emptying of bins and putting refuse and recycling out on appropriate day
Occasional local driving of principals and running errands – e.g. post office, local shops
Security – keeping an eye on the property and responding to alarm activations

You will need to drive and have your own car.

Accommodation: is a two-bedroom bungalow not part of the main house. Sorry, no partners, pets considered.

Hours: would be 8.30am to 5pm with one hour for lunch. However, they should be flexible and willing to change these hours if required to do so.

Start: When the right person is found, sooner rather than later

Salary: £40,000 gpa
