Live in Housekeeper/cook Job in Wiltshire near Tisbury, Wiltshire
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a housekeeper/cook to take care of a 5-bedroom weekend residence in Wiltshire that sits on 100 acres of land with a range of animals. They have school-age children attending boarding school, completing the family is a friendly French Bulldog dog. The property is currently being renovated and the housekeepers accommodation has recently been renovated. There are other employees who live on-site and who you will liaise with. The family predominantly visit on weekends and they sometimes travel during the school holidays so there will be times when the role can shift to a Monday - Friday role. The family will also at times be in residence during school holidays and will have guests visiting during these periods.
Duties to include:
Cleaning, laundry, and ironing to a high standard
Pet care shared with other staff members
Cooking healthy family meals & food preparation
Occasional school pick-ups
Running errands
Taking in deliveries and unpacking groceries
Other ad hoc duties as required
The family are looking for someone who is cheerful, laid back, and flexible with their duties. The ideal candidate will be pet friendly, child friendly dedicated, and self-motivated. Previous experience working in similar role and full UK driving licence are a must.
Home: 5-bedroom,3 bathrooms
Accommodation: A 1bedroom cottage separate from the main house No partners pets will be considered
Working hours: 40 hours
Working Days 5 days per week the client is ideally looking for Thursday - Monday, you will have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.
Salary: up to £45, 000 depending on experience
