Live in Nanny Job, Separate accommodation, Jersey, February or March start

We are looking for an experienced Nanny to join a private household in Jersey. The ideal candidate will be happy to help with light housekeeping when needed as both children are in nursery. The family consists of Mum, Dad and two children aged 2 and 3 years-old.

Each day starts with preparing breakfast for the children and organising their belongings and taking them to nursery.

Childcare duties focus on engaging in educational activities, preparing nutritious meals, and ensuring the children's well-being. In the evenings, you'll assist with cooking and bedtime preparations, adapting to the family's needs.

Candidates should have prior experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and a nurturing demeanour. Flexibility for varying shifts is essential, along with a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and willingness to undergo a DBS.

Duties:

Getting the children up and ready in the morning
Helping the family with developmental mile stones
Cooking healthy and nutritious meals
Engaging in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities
Taking to playgroups, baby classes and playdates
Learning through play
Bed and bath routine
Light housekeeping when possible

Accommodation: Separate 2-bedroom apartment with bathroom

Start: March 2025 (Hand over week with current Nanny to happen in London before this date)

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Approximately 10 hours a day with different shifts in and out of term times

Salary: Approximately £45,000 GPA depending on experience. Additional babysitting outside of work hours will be paid extra.
