Live-out Butler position for VIP personality - Central Park, New York
A very prominent international family are seeking a full-time butler for the central New York Residence. This busy informal family property is home for at least 6 months of the year and they need a qualified butler to be flexible when they are in residence.
Duties:
- Day will be begin on or before 7am (The principal is up by this time most days)
- Help with / or prepare breakfast
- Supervise a small team of 2 Housekeepers
- Front of house and guest relations
- Serving at meal times
- Silver Service for occasional formal dinners
- Control of the Maintenance Schedule and liaising with 3rd party Vendors
- Travel on occasion (short trips) inside and outside the USA
- 5 days per week when out of residence (circa 6 months of the year) 6 days per week when in residence (circa 6 months of the year)
To be considered:
- Provable background as a Private Butler or 5* Hotel butler with some private household experience
- Must have a USA Passport / Valid Green Card
- Must be fluent in English (Spanish an advantage)
- Must be fit and healthy (Property is on 4 floors, with lots of stairs)
- Be flexible around working days and be free to travel at short notice
- Be able to get to the residence before 7am each day
Benefits:
- Salary DOE although circa $120,000 gross per annum + overtime
