Live Out Governess / Governor, Kensington, flexible start (when the right person is found)
A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live Out Governess or Governor to help with education for their 16 year old son with additional needs.
The family would love someone intelligent, organised, with excellent communication skills. Their son has other staff to support him, however, the right person needs to be happy to help with some additional duties such as organising meals and social activities too. This is a fully staffed home so experience working within a team dynamic is essential. The family also have an 11 year old and a baby on the way. Both children have extreme nut allergies and carry epi pens at all times.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative and adventurous and their son loves horseback riding, surfing and snorkelling.
A DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service and an up to date first aid certificate are all essential for this role.
Duties:
- Administering and supporting all educational needs
- Encouraging independence
- Organising fun and engaging activities
- Meal plans and organising meal times
- Ensuring safety and wellbeing
- Traveling extensively
Specification:
- Salary: £60,000 dependent on experience, qualifications, and flexibility
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm
- Qualification: preferable
- Driving: bonus
