Live out Handyman / Caretaker / Maintenance Job in West Sussex

A fantastic position to join a family in West Sussex. There are 4 teenagers and lots of animals including cats, exotic birds and horses. Also employed are Gardeners and cleaners.

The ideal candidate would be flexible, have a can-do attitude, willing, eager to learn and hardworking.

You will be responsible for routine interior and exterior maintenance for a large family home and other properties within a portfolio, including some in North London.

Key duties and responsibilities

Interior & Exterior maintenance
Minor repairs and DIY
Grounds work alongside gardeners (clearing gutters, window cleaning, cleaning outdoor furniture etc)
Liaising and managing contractors and tradespeople
Animal care (in particular exotics birds, such as feeding them and clearing out their cages)
Occasional driving duties (school runs, train runs etc)
Knowledge of IT systems helpful
Painting and decorating
Maintenance at other properties from the portfolio intermittently
Physical interior jobs (steam cleaning carpets, chandelier cleaning, picture hanging etc)

Start: ASAP

Working days: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 GPA, depending on experience

Driver: Essential. A car will be provided for work purposes.
