Live-out Housekeeper Job in Hampshire

We are looking for a proactive and friendly live-out housekeeper for a stunning 7-bedroom residence. The family consists of a couple who primarily use this home as their main residence but occasionally stay at other locations. They also have five grown children who visit from time to time. Additionally, there is a beloved small dog on the property. While dog care is minimal, it is essential that the housekeeper loves dogs.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and an excellent team player with proven experience in similar roles within private households or estates. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other staff members are essential. A flexible and hands-on approach, combined with excellent organisational and time-management skills, is required.

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness is a must, and the candidate should possess good communication skills along with a positive attitude. The ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively is important, and having a pet-friendly attitude is crucial for this role.

Duties:

General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment
Daily cleaning and upkeep of all living areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
Laundry and ironing, including care for delicate fabrics
Managing household supplies and inventory
Assisting with cooking on a flexible basis (not required every day)

Days: Monday – Friday (Weekend working required 1-2 times per month)

Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm

Salary: £45,000 GPA
