Live out Housekeeper Job near High Street Kensington, West London

A large UHNW family is seeking an experienced and proactive Housekeeper to assist in their two homes located opposite each other near High Street Kensington tube station. The family typically visits London 4-5 times a year, spending 2-3 weeks here during each visit. The household consists of two sets of parents, some grown children, and two young children aged 2 and 4 years old. One of the children will begin university in London in January, and will, therefore, reside here permanently whilst studying. You will not be responsible for childcare duties, as the family typically travels with their Nannies during visits, which coincide with school holidays. A Senior full-time Housekeeper is already employed in their London homes, and you will need to work effectively with this individual and be a strong team player. The ideal candidate will be experienced, hard-working, flexible, discreet, presentable, very reliable and trustworthy and have good communication skills. 

Duties to include:

  • Cleaning, laundry and ironing 

  • Managing wardrobes and organising cupboards

  • Tidying up and changing bed linen 

  • Occasionally running errands

  • Allow access to maintenance visits

Closest tube station: High Street Kensington

Uniform: No specific uniform is required, but black trousers and a black T-shirt or shirt must be worn

Pets: None

Other staff: a senior Housekeeper based in London and the family typically travels with Nannies, a Chef, a Driver and Security Personnel

Property: Two large 5-storey houses opposite each other

Working Schedule:

  • When the family is not in residence: Monday – Friday; from 8 am – 4 pm or 9 am – 5 pm (40 hours per week)

  • When the family is in residence: 5 days a week including working alternating weekends with 2 consecutive days off during the week; from 10 am – 6 pm (40 hours per week)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)
