Live out Housekeeper Job in Holland Park, West London

A lovely and relaxed family is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join their household. The family consists of a mum, dad, and their two children, aged 4 and 7 years old. They are a down-to-earth family looking for someone who is eager to become a part of their home. You will work alongside a full-time Nanny, so being a good team player and providing mutual support is essential. The family is seeking a child-friendly individual who enjoys cooking, is well-organised, trustworthy, detail-oriented, can use initiative, and maintains high standards of work.

Duties to include:

  • General cleaning and tidying of the home

  • Attending to the grandparents' home once a week for cleaning and upkeep (a 15–20-minute walk)

  • Laundry and ironing

  • Meal preparation or simple family cooking, primarily for the parents, as the Nanny cooks for the children (healthy meal recipes will be provided)

  • Changing bed linen

  • Organising wardrobes and cupboards

  • Periodic deep cleaning

  • Running occasional errands

  • Letting in gardeners and maintenance personnel

  • Assisting with the children if the Nanny is sick or on holiday

Closest tube stations: Holland Park or Kensington Olympia

House: 3 bedroom 3 storey terraced house (and upkeep of parents’ home nearby)

Hours: Monday to Friday, from 11 am – 7 pm; 12 pm to 7 pm or 1 pm to 7 pm (total of 30, 35 or 40 hours per week) - added bonus if anyone is willing to work Saturday mornings

Salary: £33,000 - £45,000 gross per annum (depending on the hours worked and prior work experience)
