Live out Housekeeper/Cook Job in South Kensington, London

A family based in South Kensington is looking to hire an experienced Housekeeper/Cook to take care of their 3-bedroom flat and prepare meals for them daily. The family consist of the couple and their two children, aged one and four. They have a full-time nanny employed but would ideally want the candidate to assist with childcare when she is sick or on annual leave.

Duties will include:

  • Cleaning, laundry, and ironing to a high standard (for the whole family)
  • Tidying up
  • Changing bed linen
  • Occasional grocery shopping (it is mostly done by the family online) 
  • Cooking following the provided weekly menu and recipes -> they enjoy Mediterranean-style dishes and have no dietary requirements 

The ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail, be child-friendly, reliable, and flexible with their duties, and have previous experience working in private households and enjoy cooking.

Nearest station: South Kensington

House: 3-bedroom flat across 2 floors

Working week: Monday to Friday

Working hours: 1 pm to 7 pm

Salary: £27,000 gross per annum

Start date: As soon as the right candidate is found
