Live out Nanny Job, Southwark (moving to Hampstead), Flexible start
A lovely client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live out Nanny to care for their child aged 1 year old. He is a social and energetic boy who loves music. This is an international family; Mum and Dad speak to their child in Italian, German, and Mandarin, as well as English.
The family currently resides in Southwark but is looking to move to Hampstead Heath area within the next 12 to 18 months. Ideally, the Nanny will be happy to commute there as well. However, as they are conscious that commute length is important, they are happy to find a temporary Nanny for now and find a permanent Nanny from the time they move to North London.
The family is looking for someone warm, outgoing, attentive, and creative, with a positive energy and a good attention to detail. They wish for the child to be exposed to a wide variety of activities and to foster his cognitive, physical, and artistic abilities in equal measure. Someone with a gentle and baby-led approach, with an understanding of Montessori and a sustainable way of living, will fit in well.
The family is likely to grow in the future, so someone with newborn experience is essential, as well as an up to date first aid certificate and DBS.
Duties:
- All nursery duties
- Cooking for baby (and ideally bigger portions for Mum and Dad)
- Taking the child to playgroups and classes
- Organizing activities at home
- Keeping the nursery clean and organized
- Doing the child’s laundry
- Helping with sleep training and potty training
Salary: up to £25 gross per hour (DOE)
Days: 4 or 5 days a week
Hours: 40h a week (flexible)
Driving: not required
Travel: not required
Language: English essential; Italian or German or Mandarin bonus
