Live Out Housekeeper job in Kensington , London
A family of seven living in West London are looking for a top-notch, proactive Housekeeper willing to travel with them when they travel to their houses in the USA.
This would be 3-4 times per year fro anywhere between a couple weeks to a month or so each time. Typically they travel during the summer months, over the Christmas holidays and the Easter school break.
You could take your holidays while the family is in the UK the remaining weeks of the year.
The family is Mum,Dad and their five children aged between 3 and 10 years old and completing the family is a pet dog.
They employ 2 full time Nannies, 2 full time Housekeepers, and a full time PA who you will work alongside of.
Duties to include:
- Cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- Managing the dry cleaning
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and dealing with dishes
- Running errands as needed
- General tidying of the house
- Tidying up the garden (sweeping up leaves mainly and not actual gardening)
- Watering plants
- Taking out trash/recycling
- Meeting tradespeople for various appointments at the house
The ideal candidate for this role will have great attention to detail, enjoy working in a small team and be child and pet-friendly.
Closest station: Earl's Court
House: 5 storeys, 6 bedroom home
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week - flexible for the right person (potentially longer days & hours when travelling)
Salary: £market rate
