Maternity Nurse, Edinburgh, April for 8 weeks
A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced, discreet and child lead maternity nurse for their second child who will be 4 months old at the time of booking.
The family will be returning from 2 months in America so are looking for the Maternity Nurse to help the baby settled back to a routine in the UK.
The family have also have a 19 month. You will not be responsible for their care, but the ideal candidate would be confident to help introduce baby in the family.
The ideal candidate would be able to pick up on where support is needed and when to step back and allow the family some time alone.
A PVG dated within the last 12 months and an up to date first aid certificate are all essential for this role.
Duties:
- Age appropriate stimulation
- Daily outings
- Implementing and upholding strong routines
- Hygiene routines
- Overnight care
- Supporting with breast feeding
- Advising on best practices
- Travelling with the family (they have a home in London and plan to travel over the summer)
Salary: £350 - £450 gross per 24 hours
Days: 6 days a week
Hours: 24 hours – with a 4 hour break to be taken with flexibility

Driving: Not essential
Accommodation: Shared bedroom with baby
Language: Fluent in English
