Live out Nanny, East Dulwich, flexible start (January latest)
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a sole charge Live out Nanny for their two children aged 2 and 4 years old.
The family would like someone active and energetic, eager to use their initiative and take the children out and about to activities. The eldest is a sociable, kind, and creative child and is starting Reception this September at a school which is a short walk/scoot from the family home. The youngest, who is active and inquisitive, will soon start nursery for a few hours, two days a week (term time only) but will be with the Nanny for the rest of the week and already enjoys attending plenty of local activities (Playball, football etc). Both children are happy, healthy, and in a good routine and are good eaters.
The ideal Nanny will make full use of the strong and well-established network of Nannies in the area and organise playdates and days out for the children to socialise. The family is also looking for someone happy to follow their gentle – explain rather than exclude – parenting approach.
A DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service and an up to date first aid certificate are all essential for this role.
Duties:
- School and nursery runs
- All nursery duties (excluding children’s ironing)
- Organising activities and playdates
- Cooking for the children
- Helping with homework (reading)
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 GPA (DOE)
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours:
- Term time: 1pm to 6pm on Mondays / 7.30am to 6pm Tuesdays to Fridays (plus one babysit every two weeks, by mutual agreement)
- School holidays: 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday
Qualification: Norland bonus but not essential
Driving: essential (sole use car provided)
