Live out Nanny Job, Brockley, October start
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live out Nanny for their two children aged 4 and 8 years old.
The children are both going to school a short drive away from the family home. They are active, sociable, and curious children, who love being outdoors, music and crafts and playing with their friends. The family is looking for someone flexible and naturally caring, who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and helping them develop. The ideal candidate will be kind, compassionate, and intuitive, with a fair but firm approach to education.
During school holidays, the family often spends time in Devon and would like the successful candidate to be able to accompany them. Independent accommodation is provided during these trips.
A DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service and an up to date first aid certificate are all essential for this role.
Duties:
- School pick ups and some drop-offs
- Taking the children to after-school activities and supervising homework and reading
- Cooking for the children after school, including meal planning and batch cooking as needed
- Supporting the children with planning ahead for school (preparing schoolbags, PE kits, etc)
- Keeping the play areas tidy and organised, and encouraging the children to help with this
- Rotating toys/books and managing wardrobes
- Doing the children’s laundry and ironing
- Organising activities and playdates, particularly in school holidays
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 GPA
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours:
- Term time: Monday 8am to 7pm ; Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 3pm to 7pm ; Wednesday 3pm to 11pm;
- School holidays: the hours will be increased to 50 hours per week
