Operations Manager Job, Somerset
Our client, a high-end rural country style inn with a key focus on quality food is seeking to hire an experienced operations manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable individual to lead a secure and stable team in a well-respected establishment. Working closely with the owner, this role would suit a friendly yet professional operations manager with a flexible, can do, positive approach.
Key responsibilities
Day to day organisation and running of the restaurant, pub and hotel room operations
Financial budgeting, management and detailed financial reporting
Forecasting and Profit & Loss accounts
People management; supporting area supervisors and managers with their work
Managing payroll, rotas and overseeing recruitment of permanent and seasonal temporary staff
Ensuring high standards are maintained consistently across operations
You will demonstrate
Excellent operational management skills
Strong people management and leadership skills
Competent financial skills with excellent attention to detail
A flexible can-do attitude
A 5-star service mentality and be uncompromising on standards
Salary: £45,000 plus bonus and additional incentives
