A client from Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a part-time cook in their home in Central London and cooking for a family with young children and some staff members.
They require a cook to work Monday to Thursday from 3 pm till 7 pm and on Fridays from 12 pm till 8.30 pm.
The chosen cook would prepare dinners and snacks for the family from Monday to Thursday and on Fridays would prepare a dinner and meal prep for the weekend. They will occasionally entertain on Friday, this could be up to 10 people.
This is an informal household, and they like to eat a variety of cuisines, focus on healthy food and serve family style. You will prepare weekly menus with the principals and discuss the provisions for the week.
You will be required to serve, clear from the table, and clean your working areas.
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, good with children, proactive, professional, and reliable.
The family will require interviews and trials, which will likely take place beginning of September.
Rate: £25 per hour / £31,850 GPA
Requirements: driving would be advantageous; a clear enhanced DBS would be essential (this can be obtained at offer stage) and previous experience within a private home
