Residential Part-time Couple required for family home / Air B&B property near Tarporley.
Our client is looking for an experience couple who are looking for part-time work and accommodation to look after this property. The property is used occasionally as family home as well as an Air B&B property. The current couple are retiring after nearly 10 years in the position (placed by Greycoat Lumleys).
This role is based around 1500 hours per year between the couple and will cover:
- General hands on cleaning
- Laundry - towels in house and linen to external laundry
- Seasonal deep cleans
- Cleaning on change over days
- Checking the kitchens over for cleanliness and white goods
- General property maintenance
- General maintenance gardening and lawn care, hedge cutting, use and care of garden machinery
- Making sure the window cleaners come once a month
- Making up fires
- Meeting and greeting the family and guests
- Collecting guests from the train station or airport
- Preparing the house for each let or family visit
- Basic shopping for the family and household good
- Hot tube maintenance
- Trouble shooting for guests
This house can either be very busy or very quiet so it needs a couple who can self manage and be proactive.
The accommodation is a 3 bed apartment with its own entrance, driveway and garden with terrace. The apartment is unfurnished but with some white goods and will be provided to the couple free of rent and utility bills.
The client is offering a joint gross annual salary of £22,500 between the couple for the part-time role which is based on working 1500 hour per year at £15.00 per hour . The couple are free to seek additional work locally as long as their first priority is looking after this property.
