Part-time Housekeeper Job - Edinburgh New Town - start ASAP - £20+ per hour
Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking a Housekeeper for their property in the New Town area of Edinburgh. The Housekeeper must be punctual, organised, friendly, trustworthy, pragmatic, child friendly, warm / friendly and discreet.
The family are ideally looking for someone who can not only take control of the cleaning but other additional Housekeeping duties but this is not essential.
Duties Include:
- Housekeeping - hands on cleaning, organising and keeping the household tidy
- Laundry including care of delicate items, ironing and steaming of garments
Additional duties which would be a bonus:
- Food shopping and preparation of meals
- Possibly paying some household bills
- Running errands
- Liaising with any trades as required to ensure upkeep of household / garden
- Assisting with packing and unpacking cases before and after travel
- Ensuring fridge remains stocked, clearing and cleaning out fridge and pantry as required
- Possibly assisting with organising and listing items required to set up kitchen, laundry and general household running and purchasing of same
This role is for a period of approximately 15 months.
Hours: 15-16 hours per week, ideally on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday but there is flexibility on this depending on the candidate
