Part-Time Senior Housekeeper Job in Buckinghamshire - Maternity Cover

A wonderful new client of Greycoat is looking for an experienced housekeeper for their estate in Buckinghamshire. This position is a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. The estate also hosts events, so the role will involve preparing the event spaces and guest house. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance in their career.

Duties will include:

  • Maintaining high standards across the three properties on site that are used for family and functions

  • Ensure the properties are prepared for guest arrival

  • Check invoices for the accounts team

  • Arrange cleaners and window cleaners and renew their contractors

  • Responsible for cleaning before and after the events across the Estate

  • Liaising with on-site contractors

  • Reporting any damages to the head of engineering

  • General cleaning

  • Keeping the house tidy and well-presented

  • Preparing event spaces

The estate currently employs other staff members, including another housekeeper with whom you will work closely. The ideal candidate for this role will be friendly, warm, and possess a "muck-in" attitude.

Hours: 27 hours per week, flexible on the days - currently Monday, Wednesday and Friday 

Salary: £18-£20 Gross per hour
