The small family which is private and rarely entertains is seeking a full-time Private Head Chef to work for them on their property in Portugal. The client is seeking candidates who do not drink to excess and who live clean healthy lifestyles.
They love fresh seasonal ingredients that can be readily found due to the abundance of produce in this part of the world. The clients are not meat eaters but sometimes eat fresh seafood and largely prefer Vegetarian cuisine. They do not eat fried food or any food with processed sugar. The family prefer only a minimum amount of salt to be used and only ever Himalayan salt.
Candidates should prepare all meals from scratch and not use pre-prepared or processed foods. They love good Italian home cooking, vegetable risotto and fresh salads. The family also Love fresh Sushi but Mediterranean cuisine is the staple. The family has two pet dogs (large breed) and is seeking someone who is pet friendly.
They are seeking a candidate on a live-in or live-out basis so candidates could find their own accommodation in the local area and commute in on a daily basis, essentials for the successful applicant are as follows.

This family are lovely warm approachable people simply seeking a Private Chef with a speciality in Vegetarian/Pescetarian cooking. Accommodation is offered to the candidate at no additional cost should the candidates wish to opt for this option.
The client is offering a Gross annual salary of €90,000 per annum. The role entails cooking for a small household team and two principals daily based on a 6-day work week with time back in lieu. Discretion is extremely important to the family, especially around one specific point, please discuss this with the consultant. The client travels sometimes for up to two months at a time so it is important for the candidate to be able to take back time off in lieu during this time. Successful applicants would be invited for a 3 or 4 day trial to get a feel of the role and the cooking requirements before a permanent job offer.
