Short-Term housekeeper in Cirencester
A lovely family is looking for an experienced, friendly and proactive live out Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook.
They are looking for someone efficient and experienced to undertake all traditional housekeeping duties. You would need to be confident in working independently and using your own initiative. Someone who is quiet and a top end housekeeper but happy to listen to instructions. It is also very important that the candidate can cook/prep meals for the family. They like healthy meals, prepped from scratch with fresh produce.
The family already has a little toddler but are expecting their second child in August, but no childcare would be required. The family also has two dogs, it is essential that the individual is not scared of dogs.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
All traditional housekeeping duties, an eye for detail is required.
Daily Cleaning to a high standard
Laundry, ironing
Changing bed linen and dropping off / collecting at the dry cleaners
Preparing the house prior to the family’s arrival to the countryside.
Taking deliveries, letting builder and other workers in, running errands (ad-hoc such as Dry Cleaning) organised via the family’s assistant.
Basic cooking / easy healthy homemade meals & snacks
Grocery shopping, if required. Although the lady of the house usually does this herself.
Fit and healthy as it is a big house and does involve using stairs.
Happy to work when boss is working from home – must be discreet and quiet.
Organised, proactive and efficient
No childcare
Dogs in the home – no-one scared.
Cheery and positive person
Must have a car as this is a live out position.
Property: 5 bedrooms, 5 bathroom home
Days & Hours: Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm
Salary: £20 per hour
