Weekend Nanny or Manny Job, Hampstead, ASAP start
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Weekend Nanny for their four children aged 9, 12, 13, and 14.
The family is looking for someone extremely engaging and friendly, with a pleasant personality, who will create a happy, fun, and stimulating environment for the children. The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, and able to promote a healthy lifestyle. The children are sporty, and as such the family is looking for someone with an interest in sports and able to use sport in everyday play.
Excellent communication skills, self-confidence, flexibility, and organisation are a must in this fully staffed household (housekeepers, EA, PA, driver, security). Time management, patience, resilience, and adaptability are also especially valued.
Should the Nanny/Manny prefer to stay overnight on nights when babysitting is required, the family is happy to provide a private bedroom and bathroom.
A DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service and an up to date first aid certificate are all essential for this role.
Duties:
- All tasks related to the children
- Helping with homework and encouraging reading and educational play
- Using sport in everyday play
- Accompanying the children to school (alongside the driver)
- Taking children to activities, playdates, and appointments
- Preparing bags and uniforms
- Using internet for school-related tasks and children’s social media
- Ad Hoc errands if needed
- Keeping the children’s areas clean and tidy
- Eating meals with the children and setting up / cleaning the table
Salary: £20 to £25 gross per hour (DOE)
Days: Saturday and Sunday
Hours: 8h to 12h a day during term time (flexible) / 12h a day during school holidays
