After-School Nanny Job

Position Overview:

Greycoat Lumleys is delighted to offer a unique opportunity for a professional after-school nanny to join a wonderful family in Little Venice, W9, West London. The family seeks a nurturing and experienced individual to care for their children, aged 5 and 8 years. Applicants must possess a current DBS check and a valid first aid certificate.

Start Date: Flexible, from 1st October
Children: 5 years and 8 years
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Driver: Not required

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Dynamic with a "muck-in" attitude

  • Helpful and proactive

  • Flexible and communicative

  • Able to take initiative

Key Responsibilities:

  • School Pick-Up: Safely collect children from school using public transport (tube or bus).

  • Homework Assistance: Support children with homework, especially in math and reading.

  • Engagement: Meaningfully engage with children through various activities.

  • Housekeeping: Keep children's areas tidy.

  • Nutritional Support: Prepare and provide nutritious meals and snacks.

  • Evening Routine: Manage evening routine, including bathing and bedtime preparations.

Working Schedule:

  • Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 7:30pm or 8:00pm (hours can be extended if necessary)

  • Weekends: Occasional babysitting as needed

  • School Holidays: Nanny services not required

Additional Details:

  • Pets: None

  • Languages: Fluency in English

  • Babysitting: Flexible availability preferred

  • Remuneration: £20-£25 gross per hour, commensurate with experience
