Permanent After-School Nanny Job in Belsize Park, North West London

Start Date: ASAP (Flexible for the right candidate)

A warm and welcoming family in Belsize Park is seeking an experienced and proactive After-School Nanny to support their children, aged 6 and 10. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with special educational needs, be calm, patient, and able to help the children thrive and push their boundaries. The main focus for the nanny will be on supporting their 6-year-old.

This role requires reliability, a nurturing approach, and the ability to balance fun with structure.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 3pm to 7pm

  • 35 Hours a week offered during Half-term and other school holidays, only if you would like the extra hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely pick up the children from school

  • Assist with homework, ensuring understanding and completion

  • Organize activities, encouraging the children to remain active and engaged

  • Prepare and cook healthy, balanced evening meals for the children

  • Tidy up after the children and manage tasks such as emptying the dishwasher

  • Provide both sole charge and shared care of the children

Requirements:

  • Experience or training in special educational needs children is essential

  • A valid and up-to-date DBS check

  • A current First Aid certificate

  • Driver’s license (preferred but not required)

  • Fluent in English

Additional Details:

  • Compensation: £20 - £25 per hour, dependent on experience

  • No pets in the household
