After-School Nanny Position – South Kensington, London

A warm and welcoming family in South Kensington is looking for a proactive, caring, and experienced after-school nanny to support their 5-year-old daughter. The family has two older children who do not require nanny assistance. The ideal candidate will be organized, enthusiastic, and comfortable managing school pick-ups, daily routines, and providing a happy and stimulating environment for the youngest child. The family also employs two housekeepers, so the nanny’s focus will be fully on the child’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel: Occasional travel is required, primarily within Europe and Dubai.
  • Cooking: Prepare simple, nutritious meals for the child occasionally.
  • Activities: Engage the child in enjoyable, age-appropriate activities.
  • Atmosphere: Foster a positive, energetic environment to support the child’s well-being and development.
  • Homework: Assist with homework to encourage learning and growth.
  • Pets: The family has two dogs, but they do not require any care from the nanny.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (excluding Thursday): 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • One weekend day each week: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Total hours: 25 hours per week

Requirements:

  • Education: University Degree in Education preferred.
  • Language: Fluent Russian speaker with excellent communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Calm, patient, and nurturing.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel with the family as needed.

Rate:

  • £25 per hour

Start Date:

  • ASAP, although the family is willing to wait for the ideal candidate.
