Live in Governess Job, Cambridge, ASAP start

A new client is looking for a Live in Nanny for their two children aged 11 and 12. There are two younger siblings in the household (aged 4 and 7) but they will have their own Nanny.

All children go to a local private school and have busy and active schedules. The family is looking for someone organized and energetic, with good flexibility to adapt to their needs and schedules. It is also essential for the Governess to be a team player who communicates openly and honestly, and has the ability to receive constructive feedback.

Previous experience with similar-aged children is essential, as well as an up to date first aid certificate and DBS.

Duties:

  • Following school curriculum and preparing the children for GCSEs
  • Liaising with tutors and parents on progress
  • Fostering educational, social, and creative development
  • Organizing outside activities
  • Teaching a new language or musical instrument
  • School admin
  • Teaching manners and etiquette

Salary: £65,000 GPA
Days: five days per week, ideally Saturday included
Hours: 7am to 7pm
Accommodation: several alternatives available, to be discussed with Consultant
Driving: required (car provided)
Travel: yes
Language: English essential, second language bonus
