Live in Housekeeper/Cook Job in Somerset
A wonderful family of six residing in Somerset are looking to hire an experienced housekeeper/cook to help them maintain their busy home to the highest standards. The family have 3 children who are at school and a further who is at at uni, completing the family are two friendly dogs and a variety of other outdoor animals. They are seeking someone with great attention to detail and previous experience in cooking for a family as a part of their role. This is a really lovely role for someone who wants to feel part of the family although understanding when the family need their private time. It will be a varied role where no two days are the same.
Duties to include:
- Cleaning, laundry, ironing to a high standard
- Cooking mostly just dinners for the family and meal planning
- School runs very occasionally
- Ad hoc childminding very occasional
- Taking/letting the dogs out for walks
- Running errands
- Other ad hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, organised and animal-friendly. With a warm and welcoming personality. Previous experience working in private households and checkable references are a must.
Driving is essential.
Accommodation: There is a two-bedroom accommodation available with outdoor space in the courtyard. Pets and partners will be considered.
Hours: 40 Hours Monday - Friday 9-6
Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experince
