Live in Nanny Job, Queen’s Park, January 2025 start (flexibility to start earlier)
A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live in Nanny for their two children, a boy who will be 21 months old in January and a little girl who is due in November and will be two months old at the start of the role.
The family is looking for someone active, innovative, and helpful, with a fun and positive disposition. A soft approach to discipline is also appreciated.
The boy is very active and curious with a great sense of humour and a craving for learning. The ideal candidate will be able to match his energy levels and stimulate him sufficiently. He will start nursery for a few mornings a week in the future, although the start date is still to be determined.
This is a friendly, relaxed, and informal setting. Mum and Dad hope that the Nanny will feel at home and become part of their family. The role will be shared care during Mum’s maternity leave, and sole charge once she returns to work (expected to be in the summer). However, she will work from home part of the week, and the children’s grandparents are also around sometimes.
A DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service and an up to date first aid certificate are all essential for this role.
Duties:
- All nursery duties
- Taking the children to age-appropriate activities and outings
- Cooking for the child
- Feeding bottles (once the baby is no longer breastfed by Mum)
- Organising classes and playdates for the children to be socialised
- Entertaining and stimulating the children
- Helping around the house where needed (there is a cleaner employed)
Salary: £35,000 GPA
Accommodation: top floor bedroom with ensuite bathroom
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 6pm
Driving: not required
Travel: bonus
