Live in Nanny Job, Stockwell, December start

A returning client is looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Nanny for their two children aged 2 and 3,5 years old. Mum is expecting a third baby for February 2024 and will be on maternity leave for up to a year afterwards.

The eldest is a happy and outdoorsy child who attends preschool five days a week. His sister is currently not going to nursery and will be in the sole charge of the Nanny. She is an easy-going and artsy child who loves to draw and to play with her toy kitchen. Although some help with the baby will be required at times, the role will at first be focused on the two eldest children.

The family is looking for a kind Nanny who will be gentle and fun with the children but also structured and able to put boundaries in place. The ideal Nanny will be proactive at organizing age-appropriate activities to support the children’s development, as well as playdates.

Previous experience with children of similar age is essential, as well as an up to date first aid certificate and DBS.

Duties:

  • All nursery duties

  • Researching and attending activities, playgroups, and playdates

  • Preschool drop-offs and pickups

  • Cooking for the children

  • Doing the children’s laundry

  • Engaging the children in a fun and educational way, both indoors and outdoors

  • Helping with developmental milestones

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 GPA  
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7am to 7pm / early 5.30pm finish on Fridays
Babysitting: one night per week
Driving: essential, car provided
Accommodation: double bedroom with own bathroom on separate floor
Travel: bonus
