Live in or Live out Houskeeper job near Fawley, Henley on Thames
A wonderful client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking to hire a Housekeeper for their stunning 8-bedroom property near Fawley, near Henley-on-Thames. Living in the house is mostly just the couple although they have family that stay on occasion. In addition, a lovely gentle dog who has been in the family for many years and their pet bird.
They are looking for We are looking for someone who can clean the house to a high standard a part-time cleaner is also employed 2 days a week and gardeners. The ideal person needs to be personable and be happy to work alongside other staff members. Ideally, they would be able to oversee contractors who come to the property often. In addition, someone who is confident to monitor and log faults and report them to the correct person. The client's preference is for live-in in although will consider live-out also. You must be a driver with a clean license and be confident to drive large Luxury vehicles.
- Cleaning Laundry & Ironing
- Care of antiques, fine furnishings and marble surfaces
- Cooking would be a bonus but not a necessity
- Cleaning and looking after the greenhouse
- House sitting, security of property and care of family dogs (when owners are away)
- Keeping cars clean and updated with services and MOT (taking cars to garages and car washers)
- Ordering cleaning products
- Dealing with trade people (e.g., builders, maintenance people, pool technicians, security
- technicians)
- Assisting and helping with dinner parties or business meetings
- Looking after family pets
- Cleaning the indoor pool & pool area shared with the other housekeeper
Driving is essential because of the location. The principals are happy to take on someone with less experience. Personality, a good work ethic and finding someone who wants to stay with them long-term and become part of the family is what matters most to them.
Accommodation: A 3-bedroom apartment with a garden or a 1-bedroom flat, Pets and partners will be considered.
Working Days: Monday - Friday
assistance on the weekend is very rare any overtime would be paid on top of salary or given as time off in Lieu.
Hours: 40 hours
Salary: Live in: £35,000 (candidate is responsible for paying utility bills and council tax)
Live out: Negotiable please present expectations
