Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper/Family Liaison in Marlow, Buckinghamshire
Our client is seeking a proactive housekeeper/family liaison to oversee their 8 properties. The family owns multiple properties in a private estate, most of which are unoccupied except for June-September when the family visits. During the family's stay, the role transitions into a PA/Family liaison position. This role is replacing their current housekeepers who have been with the family for over 14 years. This role a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to gain more experience in a management role.
Duties will include:
Housekeeping responsibilities
Bi-weekly cleaning checks for all 8 properties
Weekly cleaning of each house when the family is not in residence
Managing and preparing the properties before the family's arrival, including linen checks, stocking toiletries and cleaning supplies
Arranging and supervising additional cleaning staff when the family is in residence
Checking and testing electronic equipment in the properties
Arranging window cleaning, pest control, and annual maintenance contracts when required
Family Liaison Duties
Meeting and greeting the family at the airport
Daily meetings with the family
Assisting family members as required when in residence
Scheduling appointments when needed
Running errands for the family when needed
Office-related Duties
Receiving and sending parcels
Maintaining simple accounts for petty cash expenditure on family requests
The ideal candidate for this role will be proactive, have a desire to go above and beyond for the family, and be a great communicator. This role requires an individual who is able to coordinate and liaise with others.
Properties: 8 properties on a private estate, 2 London properties (Travel expenses paid)
Accommodation: Available if needed, 2-bedroom apartment
Hours:
Family not in residence 35 hours Monday - Friday.
Family in residence (June to September) 55 hours Monday - Saturday.
Salary: Live-in: £38,000 - £42,000, Live-out: £40,000 - £45,000
