Live in Full Time Housekeeper/Dog sitter in Woking (the client will also consider a Live-out candidate)

An informal family is seeking to hire a housekeeper to assist between their two homes, one being a five-bedroom house in Surrey, the other a six-bedroom house in Sussex. The candidate would be expected to sometimes stay over in Sussex, probably one and occasionally two night per week but open to flexibility as properties are just over an hour apart. They have adult children who also reside in the home whilst not away at university. Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry and ironing, some meal preparation, house/dog sitting for a maximum of 12 weeks per year (not all at once), and day caring for the dogs.

The family will provide accommodation for a live-in candidate in January, which will be a two-bedroom flat on the first floor in a nearby town, a 15-minute drive away. With further accommodation at their Sussex home. The candidate will be expected to stay in the family's accommodation when they are away to care for the dogs.

Duties include:

Cleaning
Laundry and Ironing
Some grocery shopping / cooking healthy food
House/dog sitting when the family is away, no more than 12 weeks a year (not all at once)
Day care for the dogs

The ideal candidate for this role will be a dog lover, reliable, flexible. Driving is essential.

House: 5 bedroom / 6 bedrooms

Accommodation: 2 bed flat in town, 1st floor so will not be suitable for large pets. Partners would be considered.

Days & Hours: Monday to Friday; 40 hours a week. Flexibility on days required for dog care when house sitting.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 gross per annum
