Live-in international Nanny, Florence, Italy, ASAP Start

A client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced, organised and responsible nanny for their two children who are 3 and 4 years old. Both children are in full time school so you will have a break during the day, most days.

The hours will need to be flexible as you will do wrap around care during the week and full time hours over the weekend. The family travel extensively and they need a nanny who is happy to travel with the family as well as proxy parent if the parents are to travel without the children. The family often spend time on their boat for up to a month at a time so it is important you are happy and comfortable on the sea.

This is a fully staffed household so you will not be responsible for the child related laundry but you will be expected to clean, tidy and rotate the children’s toys and clothes to keep the relevant.

Experience with similar aged children, a valid police check, a first aid certificate (or willingness to get one) and a EU passport are all essential for this role.

Duties:

  • Getting the children up and ready for the day

  • School runs

  • Occasional cooking for the children (Both children are gluten free)

  • Homework and reading support

  • Age appropriate activities and play

  • Arranging outings for the weekend and school holidays

Salary: up to 3,000€ gross per month
Days:  5.5 days a week – Day off during the week (must be flexible)
Hours: Flexible hours – usually between 8am and 7pm as these are the children’s waking hours
Pets: The family have one small dog
Babysitting: NA
Driving: Preferred but not essential as the family have a driver. A car can be provided
Accommodation: Separate apartment with own bedroom, bathroom and Fridge – there is a staff kitchen which is free to use
Language: Fluent in English, Italian as bonus
