Senior housekeeper - VVIP Residence, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
A very important and highly regarded individual in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Housekeeper to manage a modest team of circa 15 housekeepers. The main criteria is to make sure property and all rooms within are always tidy and clean, as well as preparation and continual care of the property, the role also involves report writing, providing training to staff, including demonstrating the use of equipment and materials. The Senior Housekeeper is required to organise their own workload as well as workload of any direct reports.
Duties
Upkeep of laundry and machines, washing, ironing, storage
Upkeep of cleanliness of steam bath, gymnasium.
Checking correct function of televisions, satellite and all media, and heating and air-conditioning, and lighting
Reporting all breakage's, leaks, and maintenance and aesthetic upkeep requirements to Property Manager.
Upkeep of Inventory (furniture, antiques and paintings, linen, cutlery and China, etc)
Keeping an overview on house staff (cleaning, laundry, etc) day to day where applies.
Report and investigate any maintenance issues immediately to line manager.
Complete all periodical tasks, such as flipping mattresses, cleaning curtains and dusting lamp shades
Always be professional and immaculately dressed.
Build and maintain good relationships with all team members.
Be willing to take on jobs to balance the team workload.
Maintaining well clean and organized laundry in line with protocol requirements (separate Principal and staff laundry)
Standard 6 day working week
To be considered
A proven verifiable background as a Lead / Head / Senior Housekeeper
Either 5* Hotel or UHNW Household background
Ability to start within 4 weeks and have no personal ties that would make working away from home difficult
Must be a driver
Must have excellent English
Must be friendly and of a positive disposition
A proven record of discretion and acting with confidence
