This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard environment and enjoys delivering a first-class service to a busy family. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of butlers and nannies, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for the principals, their family, and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Excellence: Provide high-end service in all areas, including greeting guests, serving meals, and offering personalised assistance to the principals and family members. Deliver five-star service across all locations, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and comfort.

  • Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of family events, special occasions, and social gatherings. Ensure that all arrangements are seamless, from setup to service, always maintaining a professional and polished presence.

  • Daily Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of the household on a day-to-day basis. This includes overseeing the preparation of the home for daily use, liaising with other household staff to ensure timely execution of tasks, and ensuring that all areas of the home are maintained to the highest standards.

  • Meal Service: Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to provide impeccable meal service. Assist with serving food and beverages, ensuring that all meals are served at the correct temperatures and in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

  • Household Management: Work closely with the other butlers to manage the household’s daily needs, including managing household supplies, making sure everything is organised and stocked, and assisting with any ad-hoc tasks requested by the principals.

  • Guest Relations: Welcome and attend to guests in a gracious and professional manner. Assist with any special requests or needs, providing a bespoke and personalized service to visitors.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the household staff, including nannies, chefs, housekeepers, and other butlers, to ensure that all needs are met and service standards are upheld. Promote a positive working atmosphere, fostering teamwork and mutual respect.

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be adaptable to the varying needs of the family, adjusting your schedule and approach based on their preferences, locations, and events. You will be expected to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and anticipate needs before they are expressed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Hospitality Focus: A strong background in service, with an understanding of the standards required in luxury private households.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with people from different backgrounds, ensuring the needs of the family and their guests are always met with discretion and professionalism.

  • Attention to Detail: An eye for detail and the ability to ensure that all aspects of the household run smoothly, from cleanliness to service quality.
