Safari Hospitality Couple Job

Luxury Safari Hospitality Couples An incredible Luxury Safari operator in Uganda is seeking competent and outgoing couples to provide bespoke unique service for its guests. The company founded in 1997 is owned and operated by a British American couple.  The owners of this successful wildlife tourism enterprise are down to earth and hands on in the daily operational and sales capacities. Each property that they own and manage has around 10 guest bedrooms with a staff of around 30 and seeks experienced hospitality service professionals to assist with the management of teams and to uphold a luxury environment. Each couple would be fixed to one property and not required to travel between them. There is a flagship property in the mountains which is focused solely on the safeguarding and facilitating Western nature lovers to view and photograph mountain gorillas. The guests on Safari like to enjoy excellent food and caring tailored hospitality as well as professional guides and drivers when out on a game drive. The project is a labour of love, the owners provide employment for many locals and hope to source 2 perhaps three different couples on a one-year minimum commitment so as to help run the service provision to western luxury standards. All applicants must come from a unique and tailored customer service background and used to operating at a 5-star luxury standard. Knowledge of Food and Beverage service and guest interactions are important skill to have in this role. Experience in 5 star dining environment or in a Michelin level kitchen are really beneficial. Each property is staffed with 3 housekeeper, 3 butlers, 3 cooks and other general staff including Gardeners’ & drivers are also present. Each couple would be focused on one specific camp and would not need to travel much between the locations which are nestled into National parks and distant form each other. Each couple would be focused solely on the provision of luxury services in one property/camp. Key responsibilities: Ensure that all staff are working towards a 5 * service level Lead by example and assist the team in a hands-on capacity Lead the team and help develop organisations systems Manage stock rotation Deal with any guest’s specific requests Arrange team briefings and any pre arrival touches  Always uphold a Hospitable professional nature. This position is an incredible opportunity for the right people but not for the faint hearted. Candidates should be fit and outgoing in nature and obviously enthusiasm for spending time in remote wilderness for long periods of time is important. Domestic Couple Job in Burgundy, Rural France A beautiful rustic French Chateau is seeking a Domestic couple due to current staff reaching a retirement age. The property is situated in Burgundy and the clients are seeking a Domestic couple with the traditional duties of Housekeeping and cooking with Gardening and Handyman skills. The successful couple should also have previous experience taking care of dogs, swimming pool and Tennis court and care for the property with pride. The family currently employs a permanent gardener for the 10 hectares of gardens as well as a Housekeeper. The wider land belonging to the Chateaux expands to around 50 hectares but is largely fields and woods. The clients hope to find a couple who are available to start the position as soon as possible. Key responsibilities Cooking – confident household cooking occasionally up to 6 people with ease usually 2/3 people who are “not fussy” Housekeeping- Detailed and experienced housekeeping including multiple surfaces Laundry Skills: Previous experience with Laundry Gardening- Experience assisting with the gardening and outside maintenance. Trimming hedges and keeping things presentable. Tennis Court and Swimming Pool – Previous experience with the technical aspects of swimming pool care and tennis court maintenance is advantageous however there are local third parties Airport Runs: Safe driving to and form the airport for family. Ensure that you are timely well presented and the vehicle is valet cleaned Ensure that property is always looking its best and utilising third parties if necessary Pride in service showing direction and pride in daily duties to the principals There is a small supermarket and village at 10 minutes’ drive form the property and a town with a wider variety of shopping outlets at 30 minuets drive. The principals provide a vehicle for the chateaux use and this is of course free of charge to the candidates. Candidates must be happy to take care of two Rhodesian ridgebacks as if they were their own. The town dogs live on the property and there are large periods of time during the year when the principals are not in residence. The principal has suggested that candidates who enjoy rural location would best suit this position and is primarily seeking a long-term commitment and longevity from the new couple.
