Accountant for E-Commerce Operations Job

This role will require you to relocate to Germany – please only apply if this is of interest and you can speak fluent German.

Your Tasks 

  • You act as an important contact person (f/m/d) for billing and all payment-related topics within our e-commerce activities and e-shops.

  • As an accountant, you handle e-commerce customers' inquiries regarding accounts receivable (complaints and escalations).

  • You ensure that e-commerce transactions are correctly reflected in our ERP system.

  • You are responsible for the development and further development of all payment reporting (e.g. payment method usage, abandonment rates, PayPal disputes).

  • You will also take on exciting special tasks and project activities.

Your profile

  • You have a completed business degree or commercial training, preferably with relevant further training.

  • You have initial professional experience in financial or balance sheet accounting and have knowledge of accounts receivable accounting.

  • You are experienced in using common MS Office programs and ideally have already worked with SAP Business One.

  • You have a great affinity for numbers, enjoy recording and implementing new processes and are characterized by a high level of organizational skills and a friendly demeanor.

  • You have German language skills at a native speaker level (at least C1 level) and good English skills (at least B2 level).
